Detailing Brush Storage Ideas?

Hoping I can get some ideas here on brush storage.

I am an enthusiast that has accumulated lots of brushes over the past 8 years. I'm in the process of reorganizing the detailing area of my garage and trying to determine the best way to store these. Right now I have nails in the wall to hang them so that they dry out. I thought about putting them in plastic bins but an concerned the bristles would get flattened, especially my daytona brushes. My goal is to have them organized and neat looking when not in use.

Any ideas, especially with pics, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for any advice.
 
I got this Viper board. Not cheap but well worth it and a quality piece.

You could get a cart and hang them on the side....

Or use a pegboard....

Very nice Jeremy.

Regarding the Daytona brushes flattening out. Warm water will straighten the bristles.
 
Zach, that cart is nice. Great idea, I remember seeing it before in another post.
 
Jeremy - That Viper board looks interesting. I'll have to look into it. Your garage is looking great!

Zach - the pegboard idea might make sense. Out of room for a cart to stay in the garage. Also, never thought of using pegboard for the spray bottles.

Do either of you ever have issues with the board hooks coming off the board when removing the brushes?

I use a bucket with one of those bucket tool holders. Here is an old picture. The bucket is dedicated to brushes only now.

No issues with brushes falling off or hooks coming out. They snap into place and are very secure. They make the Viper board in different sizes. I like it because it cleans up nice. I also have paint sealant on it. Bristles are always hanging in their natural position. The more I can get off of the floor the better is the way I look at it. Keep things a little neater and organized.
 
I hang all of my brushes and I'm like you, Wknd Dtlr, and it seems like i have thousands! ( well...a LOT).

I don't want them resting on any other surface to bend the bristles and it allows uniform drying.

My brush bucket. I usually hang until dry then put away in this bucket.

I have a wheel bucket that I store most of my wheel brushes in -no picture at the moment--just a whit 4.5 gallon no frills bucket :)
I have a few metal cabinets in the garage and I have a lot of these magnetic hooks plus zipties for brushes. The magnet hooks are from harbor freight for 4 for-$4

 
I got this idea after looking at Daviddear30's post.. I went to the 99cent store and bought a pack of hooks, stuck them inside a bucket and voila, my new wheel & tire bucket.

Drill some holes in the bottom and you can hang them there wet.

But then I won't be able to add soapy water prior to cleaning wheels & tires.

I plan to empty out the water in the bucket when I'm done, and let the brushes drip dry inside. There's enough clearance for them to do so. :)

I see. You are going to use the bucket as well. My bucket is just for moving my brushes around. I have an oil change pan with holes drilled in it that I set my wet brushes in while I am using them.
