Hi Mike and everyone else,

Mike I know you have a nice vehicle inspection form, do you also have a checklist? I am thinking something I can put on a dry erase board and check off as I go so I don't forget something. After a car leaves I always think oh shoot did I get the glass, or did I get leather stuff on the steering wheel of a cloth interior car? If I had something perminatly on a dry erase board I could mark things off as I went, and be confident I didn't forget anything. If I just started to write things down, I a, sure I would forget a step.

Thanks
brad.

Not a bad idea. You might also be able to work that out on your smartphone through the pre installed "reminder" app or something simliar on an ipad and check down the list complete.

I made check sheets for each service I offer, I print one out each time. Don't you know what you want to clean already? Just put on your checklist what you want to do to the cars.

I've done that.^ And then handed the list to the customer afterwards when it's finished so he/she can see the long list of all that's been done.

I've thought about this, but every job is different for me so it wouldn't really help me much

I've found myself using the iPad more and more with stuff like this. Checklists for certain things. There's an app called Wunderlist that has been WUNDERFUL (HA) to use. I don't use it for every detail, as I use it more for business needs, but you could give it a shot and see what you think. Even if you use it for basic things to remember.
