Welcome to AGO!!

Probably too big a jump from Megs UC to Menz 85RD. 106ff or even 203 might be a better choice.

Klasse leaves a very nice candied look but there is a learning curve associated with HGSG. Be sure to read the posts on that.

:iagree:

Mikes spot on with his reply...

Menzerna PO85RD is super fine, one of the finest I know of capable of removing 3000 sanding grit marks.

Menzerna Super Finish PO106FA would also be a great substitute...:props:

Sealants

Wax

so PO106 is for cutting first, and then the PO85 to polish?

They are both finishing polishes. 106fa has a bit more bite.

so m yquestoin is, i want a product to use before the PO85 i just wand to stick with 2 items to get rid of the holograms, spiders etc.

Normally, unless you have very soft black paint, 85rd is not "needed". If you are intent on doing a 3-step, use 203 on the middle. Then I could pretty much guarantee you'll get the most out of 85rd.

Megs UC is a compound and takes out more serious defects than 203. So start a test spot with 85rd and see if that completely removes the defect. If not, step up to 203 and check. If still not, then use UC. Then work you way back down.

nicely said thanks, the porter cable should be at 4 5 or 6 setteing

4-5 for polishing (Menz products), 5-6 for UC.

Black for 85rd
white or orange pads for 203
Orange or MF for UC.
