Hey all, I am going to be completing a detail on my 2012 f350. the color is a dark shadow gray. there is minimal defects to the paint with few swirls from what I can visibly see.

I was thinking about

1. Washing 2 bucket method
2. clay
3. total swirl remover
4. meguiars #21 sealant
5. collinite #915

I have never used any of these products, nor am I dead set on these particular products. if you have any other suggestions or if my process seems jacked up please let me know!

thanks guys!

I would be a LITTLE worried about haze with TSR on that color. What pads you using?

I was looking to gather insight on the pads people would recommend. The paint is in overall pretty good condition so I don't think I need anything too crazy, what products would you recommend for this color?

I have a black truck and ive never had hazing using WG TSR with an orange pad.

I think you got a good list going.

I'd go orange for tsr and white for finishing glaze on the CCS pads. I can't recommend the hybrid's as I have not used them but i believe the color coding to be similar.

Brandon and parttimer thanks for the insight! I will be ordering the pads today!

Questions- would you guys recommend using TSR over a similar megs product?

Also is the collinite wax I chose a good finisher to give it that deep wet look?

I've only used Col. 845 so I can't quite say.

I am a huge wolfgang fan, I have used Megs 105/205 but man, they are lots of work compared to the twins. I have been using D151 which is a polish and protectant in one and has similar cut to WG TSR.
Megs UC is very good and I have used that and very close to TSR on the cut scale. I find the megs compounds to be dusty and sticky compared to TSR.
