detailing over Tape Graphics

Hello everyone,

I have a a full detail coming up on a newer Dodge Charger Daytona and I wondered what you guys do with the flat black tape graphics on the sides and hood?
My first thought is to avoid touching them with the P/C. Should I mask them off? Any advise on this would be great.

ive waxed over my decals no prob just dont go near it with cleaner waxes or p/c requler carnuba on the decals is fine.
