Hey Mike,
Just curious what type of tape you are using in you detailing videos. Specifically, the videos where you are marking off a square to do some paint correction and polish. Looks like painters tape. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure what exact tape Mike uses, but anything by 3M is top-quality adhesive.

Don't go with bargain basement tape from Wally World, or you might be in for a whole new project removing adhesives.

For most projects, I'll tend to use what "supports" the AG store as I work for Autogeek. Thus I use these tapes,

3M Automotive Performance Masking Tape 3 Pack

They also work very good. Sometimes I should use a tape that is LESS tacking and I believe we carry the CarPro tape too, but I don't use it. Mostly for storage reasons. I only have so much room for "stuff" in the garage, this includes everything from towels and tools to products. All my peg hooks are filled with "green 3M tape". I do have some of the CarPro red tape, I don't know, I just don't grab it.

Usually if I'm taping something off I want to tape it off ONCE and move on. So some good adhering tape works for me.

:)

FYI to those considering ordering the 3M tape. It's out of stock and no ETA ... I've been waiting on mine for some time.

Probably out of stock because of this ... :poke:
