Dewalt DW849 polisher ???

its a great machine. Built strong and will last a long time. Kinda on the heavy side and a little noisy but when of the best out there. I had one last 6 years being used pretty much all day six days a week. Buy it.

wow thats great to hear, i am getting one tomorrow from a friend. its use and i also remember when he got it new, it only gots like 8hrs of use.

Yup. Its a tried and true machine. The only downside of it is the weight. It dones really weight much by itself put after a few hours it'll have its toll on you.

I have the milwaukee 5540 and it is wonderful, the downside of course is the weight, despite the weight i love the feel of it and the removable milwaukee cord (The cord can fit any of Milwaukee's tools). The milwaukee weighs 8.8 pounds, but with the edge set it's amazing, it turned my 98 Acura CL into a truely stunning car .:buffing:

I have two of those but the black and decker versions for over 20 years and no problems at all. I feel the weight is a benefit and helps with paint correction, plus you will get use to the weight.
