I have also made some minor score adjustments here and there to account for further analysis or newer products surpassing previous high scoring products. Products highlighted green are winners, those in peach are sinners. Overall, these are my usage notes, observations and measurements that I achieved, your milage may vary.

I have been thinking of switching from adams car shampoo to ADS Shampoo+. Is it worth the cost difference? Adams is 30 bucks a gallon, ads is closer to 50 where I live. Ill pay if its worth it. Been using Gyeon Bathe, but the scent reminds me of dishsoap
 
Pretty hard to beat Megs Hyper Wash, cleans great. For the price it's hard to beat, Harbor Freight has it at what may be the cheapest price, especially with one of their coupons.

Im betting the only significant difference between the two is the Armour costs $20.00 more.
Id stick with the Adams if you like it and id spend that $20.00 somewhere where it counts.

I would have the Adam's soaps in my cabinet on a permanent basis if they were more cost effective for us. Both the blue and red soaps are way better than their price points suggest. So, it's going to come down to what you want.

The blue Adam's shampoo is so nice to use, foams ok, slick, smells great. But its also harder to pour and mix, you also waste an certain amount stuck in the bottle at the end. I actually prefer the runnier red Mega Foam because for this reason, its easier to pour.

ADS Shampoo+ is easier to pour and mix, foams slightly better than the blue Adam's, and probably a little slicker too. I also suspect Shampoo+ cleans a little better. But for whatever reason, I still prefer Capro Reset.

If it were me, I'd buy the small 473ml bottle of Shampoo+ and Mega Foam to try, then make your decision. (Just because it says "foam", its still a great bucket soap, just easier to work with").

Follow up to this, I tried the ADS soaps and hate them. I know that's harsh, but im particular. Two main issues:
1. ADS does not tolerate sunlight. If the back of my carport is in sunlight and I dont immediately rinse that part of the car, it streaks. Ive had to break out a rinseless to get the streaks off. Both + and decon seem to leave residue, even after extensive rinsing.
Maybe its user error, but for me, the end result is that the adams works better how I use it.
2. I dont think they smell particularly great. I could get over this if they performed really well.

I tried Adams mega foam and it works great. No residue issues and it seems to clean really well. I think its going to be my go to soap at least for the next year until I get the urge to try something new.
 
Hey Deyon, I'm sure you know this already, but what's your thoughts on ADS working on an acidic soap?

That's an odd one, from memory there was doubt from ADS about the effectiveness of that type of soap.
