It came time to re-seal the wife's van. The 601/501 died at about 8 months on the roof, the side panels were still ok as was the hood with 601/105. This time after doing my truck with 601/111 and was very pleased with the pure sealant I decided to use it on her van as it is a DD and outside 24/7. I have seen a year plus with the 601/105 and the daughters car is wearing that combo at 15 months. The daughters may get a re-seal this coming weekend, that van pretty much made me a basket case. The roof on that thing goes on forever. I snapped a few after shots of the 601/111 as I do not see many posts on that particular sealant.

Kind of wish I had done this 2 month's ago as the temp here while doing this reached 100 :nomore:. I think I may be getting to old for this as I was not worth much for the rest of the day . Now to check the Longevity of the 601/111.

Beautiful results!! :props:

You'll not find a Duragloss product you won't like.....

Thanks guy's. The 111 reminds me of Zaino sealant, the finish needs to be as perfect as you want it as 111 will not correct anything. Hopefully it will be as durable as Zaino or 601/105. We will see.

Nice. I was looking at 111 and 105. One day I will try some DG.

Reminds me I need to reach to the back of my shelf and use some 111.
Great job on the van, looks wet.

In early October I applied DG111 to a brand new Nissan Quest. The pearl white paint looked fantastic! In a couple weeks I will be seeing the van for the first time since. It should be interesting to see what it looks like since I doubt it has been treated very good. Nice job David! One can be proud to drive that minivan! 111 will always have a place in my LSP box.

111 an oldie but goodie it made our old Milano red honda civic look so good back when we had it many many years ago, in fact my parents had come over right after I finished up with it and my mom asked if the car had been repainted. It's got that great gloss and look. One of my all time favs.

So what is the difference between 105 and 111. I recently did 601+105 on my Sorento and got great results. I mean I expect that with Duragloss in general. To me it is the most cost effective, best looking for the money, product you can buy.

Big question to me is the difference between these two. I have only ever used 105.

If you have time and don't mind could you post back here when you see that van. I know it will not be anything conclusive on 111 without knowing the history but I would like to know the results.

105 is a sealant with cleaners
111 is a pure sealant no cleaners.

105 will clean and have a more correction than 111. 111 has neither of those properties, if it cleans anything it is very minimal. 105 gives outstanding results and is my favorite but if the surface is in excellent condition I think 111 may just give a little more bling. I will be using both 105 and 111 along with 101, 501 depending on the situation and the longevity of the 601/111. 105 has already proven itself with 1 year plus both on the daughters car and the fiberglass RV. I now have 601/111 on my truck and the Wife's van. The 601/501 appears to be in the 6-8 month range when used by itself.

So what is the best application? 601+105 together, or 601 dry, 105 on top?

Also I am guessing you use 101 as a polish first, than 601 as a paint prep, followed by 105/111 as a sealant? Also why would you use 501 as it is marine? Soo many great products, so little knowledge on what I want! hahaha

I am new to duragloss, but so far I love the results and the price! I am still going to go broke by the time I buy all of their products. Just not as broke as I would with other big names.

501 may be intended for marine/RV use, but it's an absolutely superb cleaner wax when little or no correction is needed, plus having pretty decent durability on its own. Try it with a white pad on a car you think is already clean and you'll be amazed at how dirty the pad gets.
Mixing it with 601 at a 4:1 ratio allows you to follow with 105 or 111 immediately after for even better results, without the wait to allow for cure times.

This past fall, I did 501/601, followed by 105 and finally Colli 476. I got thru an entire PA winter on a non-garaged DD and it's still beading with a little monthly help from Aquawax. Once I get the time to do my spring cleanup, I'll try 501/601, followed by 111. Haven't used 111 yet, so I'm anxious to see how it looks.

I agree about the hood shot but one good thing about DG #111 is that its easy to remove, although depending where you live that 100 degrees combined with humidity could make it a bit tougher. You'll enjoy what you get out it for sure, good to see/hear your actually taking full advantage of durabilty, I was never one to be able to do the same, LOL!

I was going to ask you about durability Klasse but then did not bother as I pretty much new the answer as a few do the same. By that I mean that some are always experimenting and trying different products and would not be able to answer a durability question LOL. I will find out the longevity but it may take a year if 601/111 is as good as 601/105.

I used 652 first then mixed the 601/111 in a squeeze bottle (4 parts 111 to 1 part 601). I used a DA with a Edge white pad. I have applied by hand with a microfiber applicator and maybe it is just me but the DA seemed to look glossier. I used the hand applicator around the places a DA could not go ( around emblems, antenna's etc. ). I can say the same as Klasse stated that the 111 did seem harder to remove for some reason which may also be from me applying to much as it is very hard to see on lighter color paint. The two vehicles wearing the 111 are Desert Sand and Driftwood ( Silvery). I am doing the Daughters car this weekend which is Twilight Metallic Blue. I am going to try 101 for cleaning then 601/105 and 601/111 on two different panels side by side to see which one seems to be the best as the 601/105 that is on there now is 15 months old.
