The Daughters Twilight Blue has 10 months on the 601/105 and the Wife's Toyota 601/501 601/105 combo has 7 months. Since it has been raining since yesterday morning I thought some pics are in order. Both of these vehicles have been washed almost weekly using 901 and aqua wax as a drying aid or 932 washes. Mostly 932 washes overall. They have also had dress ups with 921 or 521.

It is amazing for about $13 a bottle and they look as good as sealants costing almost 4 times as much that get all the hype.

You used a topper, thats cheating! Ha
One thing I noticed with DG sealants, sometimes the beading doesn't look as good as others like collinite, but they sheet water so nicely it makes up for it.

Yeah all I ever saw from those little beads were water spots, I would rather see as much runoff as possible

The up side other than being a good price is that DG's products work and they do what they say they will do with no hype. What a great product line

This is why I like DG products so much, no hype, just results! I've been pleading for some time now for DG to sell its WOWA product here, been told they sell it overseas but not here. I would also love to see DG make a paint sealant, can you imagine that, a 4 oz bottle which would probably cost $30.00 knowing them, even if were $10-15.00 more I'd buy it, even though I've got a basically full bottle of DPPC.

I find myself gravitating towards Duragloss, Collinte and DP products, no hype, just results and VERY fair pricing, a win, win!

I'm game for trying a DG WOWA. I have used ZCS and Optimum Opti-Seal, both good products but if DG's WOWA performs like their other products at a reasonable price I am sure it would be a hit. So have you any info why it is not sold here ?. My guess is EPA.

Yeah I believe it has something to do with what its made out of for sure, gotta be a way to get "some" here, right?

Do you mean paint coating? They already have plenty of sealants ;)

Once DG decides to market a coating you can bet it will be superb at a lower cost than anything currently out there.

I'd like to see DG market a compound and finishing polish as well.

Simply a great company where making as much money as possible is clearly not their driving force. Its nice to know that in this day and age of corporate greed, there are still companies that produce quality products at bargain basement prices.

I have used DG's 652 which works well and 561 on the RV which worked great but yes it would be great to have specific compounds to keep everything in the same family. The Daughters Escort is coming due and I will try both of what DG offers to see how they work on paint.

Klasse, do you know the name of this WOWA sealant ?.

Couldn't have said it better myself! Maybe we should start somewhat of an "open letter" to DG and maybe someone will see it from DG, surely they know someone who checks out our forum. The suggestions of compounds and actual polishes that correct, WOWA product and a paint sealant would be HUGE hits for them and would truely garner what many of the new products get lately, HYPE w/ untested longevity but in DG's case, they'd release it and we'd buy and when the time is right, I repeat WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT, then and only then can the claims be made about longevity.

If DG released a coating (which I've heard there are no plans to) I feel like nobody would use their sealants anymore. I really wish they would make one though because I would surely buy it. Now that they have squeaky clean I feel like that's the only mission product in the line.

I agree Killa but since I've got so many products I will end up doing my usual spring clean up and use my DG process, even though I'm sure my base DPPC will still be going strong and if so, well, it will last that much longer based on what's going to be layered ontop of it. Sure it doesn't need it but its not going to hurt any to do a Speedy Prep towel cleaning, followed by DG #501/601 and some #105/601 and finally 2x's #111/601.

Just make sure you use 601. I recently skimped on using it with 501 bc I forgot it. Fast forward to a little more than a month later and I washed it and the beading/sheeting was nowhere near as good as using 601 with it. And this was on a garage kept vehicle.

How was the beading after a month of just #501 w/o adding #601?

Pretty crappy. Sheeting was very slow as well. And I the vehicle cured for over 12 hours in the garage after 501 was applied. I'm going to put a coat of 601/105 on it next time I wash it.

I am at the point I will not use 501 or 105 without 601 unless I know it is temporary. Zaino AIO falls into the same category. I am doing the RV now ( Started it anyway, gonna take a while) and I am trying 601/501 topped with 601/105 this time. The last session which was about 2 years ago was 652 and 2 coats of 601/105. That lasted way longer than I anticipated (very pleased with that). There was minor oxidation showing up on the wool pad but the 601/501 cleaned it up nicely. I just ordered some 101 and 111 as I have not used either yet. DG states 111 at 6 months. I would like to know longevity with 601/111.
