Hi guys quick qustion for you. I have diamond plate along the front of my detailing trailer along with diamond plate fenders. I use to use a cheap 6inch orbiter polisher from autozone with microfiber bonnets and flitz and about 8 hours polishing them up. Now i just got a pcxp with the XL pads (wish i would have got the 5.5 pads but thats besides the point. it came with a wool pad i was just wondering if i could use my pc and the wool pad with flitz to polish the aluminum. granted i only have the one pad. but if it will work what speed do u use for the pc and so on thanks for the advice guuys

Well this post has been up for almost a month an no replies so just wanted to give an update I used the wool pad and flits and came out awesome used my pcxp on 5.5 setting and did a great job

Sorry I was no help, but glad it worked out for ya:xyxthumbs:

i never thought of using 105 with and orange pad on diamond plate. is that all you use or do you come back with a sealant?

I never saw this.....sorry. I have been using the pad that came with the PCXP for diamond plate with OPT metal polish with some great results. It's the only use I found for that pad so far.
