Did DIY Detail get a YouTuber shutdown?

I was watching the recent video by Out of Spec Detailing and 1 of the comments commended him for having the balls to give his honest opinions when putting together his brand tier list for the video.

They also mentioned a YouTuber who you may be familiar with named “Detail Projects” and the fact that his channel has been completely removed off YouTube.

I had heard in the comments of another channel that Detail Projects channel had been deleted but nobody gave a reason, but here they mentioned DIY Detail aka Yvan being the cause due to what may have been unfavorable review of the products? Does anyone know or have you heard about this?

If that’s the case that’s totally messed up. I’d like to find out what happened. Wish I could see what caused all that to happen. Especially considering that dude was always pretty respectful.

Was Detail Projects the guy who was telling us that SLS was a harmful substance and shouldn't be in car wash?

Because it's in every shampoo and body wash and a lot of toothpaste, so I found his dismay laughable.

Yeah he did the rinseless testing and recen prewash testing.

SLS is on again off again talked about for its risks but there are no conclusions at this point, so it remains used in many chemicals. I will say the concentration between personal care and vehicle care is different, never had my hands dry out like DIY rinseless wash does using a hand soap.

So what Was his reason for deleting his entire channel? I mean he had to have Somekind of reason? I didn’t follow his channel that close but I’m pretty sure it was many years old and had a ton of videos right?

I mean there’s at least some pocket change to be made even if he had decided to quit making new content, so what was his reason?

Yep, there was. It was also personal and I’m not going to share it. Needless to say it was not related to YouTube politics or drama.

Alright, I can respect that. At least he had somekind of reason and was willing to share it with someone.
