Did Klasse fix my holograms or just hide them?

Background: Santa totally surprised me with a PC. I'd promised my step-dad I'd do his 2009 Ford Ranger over the Christmas break, so it was a perfect opportunity to practice. Santa only got orange pads. Since then, I've ordered an array of colors, but they probably won't be here until Tuesday. I have basically the whole Wolfgang line (TSR, FG, DGPS, Fuzion, etc.), the Klasse twins, and the PC came with XMT Swirl Remover 2 & XMT Finishing Glaze. Since my main goal was to learn how to use the PC, I wasn't really trying for the perfect swirl-free finish. I just didn't want it to look worse than before I started. The truck was in pretty good shape overall. He's only used automatic car washes, so there were swirls and long fine scratches down the sides, but nothing really bad. I washed, clayed, IPA, then did my test spot on the hood. My plan was to use the XMT SR2 with an orange pad, and if my first pass of that on the test spot look good, I was going to go on and do all of that step while I waited on my other pads to arrive. I did the test spot, and it looked really good. I looked at it in the direct sun, with the Brinkman, in the dimly lit garage, every way I had to look at it. It look good. So I proceeded. I spread the XMT on speed 3 in about a 18" x 18" square, then switched to speed 5 starting in the top left corner going side to side, then when I reached the bottom, i went up and down. I ended with a slight haze that I buffed off then moved to the next section, and so on over the whole truck. Again, I looked at it with several different lights, and I didn't see any issues.

Problem: This morning, I installed new lights in the garage. When I was finished, I pulled the truck back in and discovered holograms all over it, even my test spot!

In an attempt to get the holograms out, I used a MF bonnet over an orange pad and Klasse AIO on speed 5. To my amazement, they came out. I tried every light I have access to, and I still didn't see any holograms.

Questions:
1) Did the Klasse really get the holograms out, or did it just mask them in some way?
2) Is it okay to go on and seal/wax it, or should I wait for the other pads and do a glaze/polish step?
3) What did I do that caused the holograms? Maybe the orange was too coarse a pad for the XMT Swirl Remover?

Sorry for all the words, but this has me confused and scared. Whatever I did wrong, I certainly don't want to do again. But I don't know what to do differently next time, unless the answer is that Klasse is the wonder-product that fixes all noobie mistakes!

It should be fine. It sounds like what you had was just left over polish residue that looked like holograms. KAIO wont mask holograms at all since it is just a chemical cleaner. It probably just cleaned up the leftover residue. If your really worried do an IPA wipedown and check in the sun since the sun will show everything.

I did that once before and found out that i didn't let the wax set long enough and it created the holograms. It needs time to set if not the oils will create that problem.
