I learned how to wet sand and polish at a body shop so I only ever had the opportunity to use the 3M "Perfect It" 3 stage polishes with the corresponding 3 foam pads.
This stuff.

I've polished plenty of black cars at work and several for customers and I've never had an issue getting out imperfections and the resulting swirls.
I'm mostly curious as to how different foam/wool/w.e pads are.
This stuff.
