Dilution ratios for 32oz bottles

20:1 = 1.52oz

I was mixing up some ONR @ QD strength today wondering what the ratio was for 6oz/gallon. I used my fingers m toes abacus but I had trouble because I don't have any half toes...

like algebra? heres what i do:

theres 128 oz in a gallon, 6:128 = 3:64 = 1.5:32 = .047

x= oz of onr
y= oz of water

x + y = 32
x/y = .047

= >

y = 32 - x

=>

x/(32-x) = .047

x = 1.504 - .047x

-1.504= -1.047x

x= 1.436 oz

x + y = 32

(1.436) + y = 32

y = 30.564 oz

therefore :

30.564 oz water, 1.436 oz ONR to be at 6:128 dilution

sorry, im an engineering student. haha:)

are u sure its 6oz/gallon? on the bottle it says 8oz / gallon to make QD

which would be 8:128 = 1:16

x = oz onr
y = oz water

x+y=32
x/y=(1/16)= .0625

y=32-x
x/(32-x)=.0625
x=2 - .0625x
-2 = -1.0625x

x= 1.88

(1.88) + y = 32

y= 30.12

or in english,

1.88 oz of ONR and 30.12 oz of water

for 25 oz bottle
