Disposable microfiber towels for cleaning up bird droppings

Hello,

I like the idea of disposing microfiber towels after cleaning up bird droppings as Mike Phillips advises. However, I cannot afford to be throwing away expensive towels. At the same time, I do not want to use towels that will scratch my paint. Will towels from Costco such as the ones linked below serve well for this purpose, or would you recommend some other?

There's a product called Drop Wipes just for this purpose.
 
Scott shop towels. Not too worried about scratches as long as im using a lubricious qd
 
I have cut up microfibers into 6" squares for spot "touchups". Wet before use!
 
Costco towels are fine to use. Just do as Rick and John say above and make sure to use plenty of lube.

Leaving the bird bomb on the paint is way worse than worrying about using a cheap MF. IMO

This. Give me some possible light towel marring over some etched in bird poo that might need to be wet sanded out any day of the week. Gotta go with the lesser of the two evils.

Thanks everyone. I think I'm going with these. I think it is a good balance of preventing scratches and money spent. After seeing these and what everyone has said about using enough lube, I think the Costco towels are now a little too expensive for me for this purpose. Maybe after enough confidence, I will downgrade to Scott towels.
 
Been using Costco towel cut in half ( wet towel n lube the the birdspot well). Toss when done. I have noticed that bird bombs are easier to remove and cause less paint damage on my cars that are coated with GTech EXO or Profi coated compared to car with sealant or wax or PNS ( thus I have moved to those coatings mentioned as my cars seem to be their favorite target )
