If there wasn't some secret sauce where you could distill water with a single drop ;-)

I had a CR Spotless, felt it was cumbersome...sold it.
I'm just as heavy into my landscape as I am with auto-detailing......our city water has chlorine added. I treat my water as much within reason
I was doing some watering and just amazed a single drop per gallon removes the chlorine from the water....that is the product dilution ratio ,
And here I was thinking...imagine if something similar existed to remove the minerals. Wishful thinking eh
