I am really getting into this blogging thing and I am really seeing the benefits on my website. It really helps me in the rankings. If any of you guys have a blog, post a link to it here and we can all read your great posts.

If you guys want a free backlink to your website you can check out my blog and leave a comment.

I do but I need to update it since I actually forgot about until you brought this up.

I currently do not have a blog but have been considering it lately.

I've got one too. I copy my write up's there to post on facebook, as well as document trips to car shows and so on.

I update mine like once or twice a month.

I had one but I deleted it. It was on blogspot. In the end it is just easier (for me) to maintain a Facebook page instead.

Believe it or not, there are some people out there who are not on FB

FB is also blocked at a number of office type places

not trying to rain on your parade. just addressing the reality of it all. morning news yesterday said 1/3 of americans are not on FB or twitter. is that accurate? that can be debated

You can still look at Facebook pages without having an account. You make a good point though.

I think it's essential to have your work well documented on the web.... You just gotta tell your future client: "check out some of my works on this website".... He'll see and like it... It saves you words and is also a great business card...
Mine is www.hepolishing.com or .net
Very simple, not much info, but it's just getting started.
I also plan to have a sister blog where I'll address some of the most common question on detailing and link that to my work portfolio site, I think it helps who doesn't understands a thing about detailing to get the feeling about your work.

You should, you will be surprised how it will help your rankings. If there are keywords you want to target just write an article about it and post it and sit back and climb the charts.

Facebook is great but how many people get on Facebook looking for detailing? Besides, I someone googles detailing your facebook page isn't likely to show up and if it does for some reason you can only hope someone is going to read your post. A blog give you an opportunity to rank higher in the search engines.

But that's just my opinion.

thanks. I found it amongst 30 or so spam replies and approved it
did the same for your site

Found it and approved it. I just found out my site is a PR3 so links from my site will help.

(That sounded like a prude, sorry)
