I always do, although it may look excessive, I've done it once and became addict of finishing (applying LSP) to a just washed / thoroughly dried car.
I do it mainly for two purposes:
- getting rid of dust, if any,
- when washing a just polished car, I use a damp plush MF towel to wipe of everything that may be left in a safe way.
How I like it:
- Rinse with foam cannon and some hyper wash soap,
- fill the bucket with foam cannon to damp MF
- Pass the damp plush MF towel over every section just like 'final wiping polish residue'.
- Rinse thoroughly.
A just polished car will dry super fast using a good drying towel.
Then I use a blower (or vacuum) to get water out from inside crannies,
And apply LSP.
I like doing this, and it's very unlikely I will do differently because it's working very good.
Kind Regards.
