Do you guys wear a mask?

When it comes to compounding, there's A LOT of polishing dust. I'm not sure if this safe to our lungs or to breathe in. Do you guys wear a mask when you polish?

I don't.... I'd be way too uncomfortable breathing the hot air. I generally only wear a mask if I'm dealing with strong solvents and/or spraying paint.

I've never really felt like I'm breathing any dust in while polishing.

No. I've never come across any dusting problems. Polish splatter....now that's a recurring problem! Maybe I should invest in one of those cool Autogeek aprons.:buffing:
