Do you have to wet the cobra guzzler before using it?

I do this as well. Spray AW on car while wet and dry off. works good!

I found when using a QD as a lub to wipe with the guzzler, it does affect the absorbency of the ww. Be sure to wash your ww after every use.

I also wash all my MF towels before first use to assure nothing attached in shipment.

ALWAYS! Then wring it out and you are good to dry.
