Been a crazy busy summer personally, so I haven't gotten squat for detailing done. Finally had a spare day to squeeze a job in, and boy was it a butt kicker. Customer only wanted a one step, but there's a lot of real estate with this bad boy. No crazy project, but I haven't posted any work in awhile, so I figured I'd share

Process/Products

2 bucket wash with Blackfire carwash and CarPro wash mitt
CG Diablo Wheel Gel + various brushes and wheel woolies
OPC 3:1 and tuff shine brush on tires
Sonax Dash Cleaner for interior surfaces
Stoners Glass Cleaner

HD Speed on the paint with a Rupes21 + Orange Buff n Shine pad
Blackfire Protectant on rubber, trim, and wheel wells
CG VRP for tire dressing

A few quick side x sides for the A.D.D. crowd:

And all finished up. Didn't have much light by the time I was done, so some the shots aren't real great and some are pretty grainy. Felt good to get a job in and the truck turned out pretty good. It's a beautiful vehicle. Customer was thrilled (got a nice tip ;) ) and it sounds like his dad is going to be bringing me his 2016 Duramax after seeing this truck finished. Thanks for lookin:

I know someone other than the Dodge's owner who loves Weathertechs. Didn't look horrible before, honestly. Looks great after. Those wheel wells look perfect. Nice work

HD Speed is an awesome product. One polish that I should have ordered by the gallon. I haven't gotten to use it on black yet, but I look forward to giving it a try.

Outstanding. :props:

If you drive to the owner without letting him know you're coming, he would probably think it's a newer one not realizing that's his. Really nice work.

And I'm sold on HD Speed.

Thank you. HD Speed needs to be in everybody's cabinet

Thanks. Yeah, it's in great shape. Was just dirty. Cleaned up great though.

Very nice!!!!!!! You got that paint looking awesome. Would look a lot better if Ram didn't have so much damn orange peel in their paint. I know. I own one. :/

HD Speed is a miracle in a bottle. :)

Great job!! I just did a black Tahoe and that is smaller than the 2500 you did and took 8 hours! How many did you put in on this beauty?

Nice, job what a turnaround, I'll bet the owner felt like he got a new truck, grinning every time he looks at it

That truck looks amazing!

The bottle of Speed in my closet is calling out to me but I have not had the chance to try it yet lol.

Looks great! That's a lot of surface area to tackle and black.....OMG, I'm tired of doing black vehicles.

Man I don't understand how people can deal with such a filthy vehicle lol...that would drive me nuts
