My aunt asked me to replace a headlight bulb in her car while her and my uncle were gone for a few days. After replacing the light bulb, I decided to clean the car up for her. Her and her husband (my uncle) own greenhouses/a dog so its used for everything, hauling plants, dog carrier, junk carrier. I did his car not to long ago 2005 GMC Envoy (trashed interior) It was mostly an interior job, as the exterior just got a quick wash. I didn't take any exterior pics as it wasn't really bad (dirty) just a lot of tar and the paint is in poor condition.

Interior
Vacuum with shop vac (6hp) - vacuuming, brusing, vacuuming, brushing...
Carpet/seats spots treated with 303 carpet cleaner
Carpets/seats scrubbed with a mix of Meguiars APC (4 ounces) and Oxy Brite (1-2 tablespoons)
Carpets/seats "Extracted" with the BLGM (I emptied the dirty water container 25 times)
All interior panels scrubbed with Meguiars APC (4:1)
All interior panels protected with 303.
All glass cleaned with Stoners Invisible Glass.

Some 50/50 shots, the passenger side floor was worse as there was a baby seat in the back on that side.

After

The carpet is pretty wore, so a lot of the darker spots are just where the carpet is wore/torn through, not dirt.

Sorry for the lack of pics. Towards the end I was concentrating on finishing as they were coming home soon. And for the lack of after pics as I finished 10 minutes before they came home (it was a surprise "clean job")

Amazing what people do to their autos, nice work....

Great work mate!!!Who could people drive such cars??

<snippage>

What is that purplish attachment you used? Haven't seen anything quite like that for a LGM. I could use something narrower than the supplied attachments for some of the tighter spots.

BTW, if you leave a space or two between your pic links they could be used individually in a quote. Just a thought...

Thanks, TL

I too want to know what model of Green Machine you have.

I have the #1425 and the Water/Soap that comes out, sprays wider than the width of the Brush.

It's a very common complaint and was wondering if you experience the same problem ?

Could you take another Picture of what your BLGM Head looks like ?

Didn't see this thread got bumped. Thanks a lot guys! I love doing interiors like this, just hope one day I can jump for a Mytee extractor.

Don't have my camera right now, but here's a pic of the the two I have when I had just picked up the non heated version one for $4.50 at a neighbors garage sale who used it only a few times.

And yes the water does spray wider then then the nozzle. Hope this helps some.

$4.50 for a BLGM ? That was a good deal!

It appears you have to different Suction Heads there. The one on your Pro-Heat, doesn't have the built-in Scrub-brush... or does it ?

How did you like the Water spraying beyond the width of the Head ? I think Bissel should re-design this Head so that the Spray is the same width as the Suction.

My mind is all ways blown by the amount of dirt comes out of the carpet.

They both come with the regular suction end and then the turbo brush which is junk IMO (the turbo brush is on the right on the $4.50 one). I just took a pic with it as that's how I bought it.

I don't mind it spraying a wide water pattern, just a couple more strokes with the tool and its sucked up. Granted it doesn't have the lift power of a true extractor, but it gets the job done.
