I purchased Diamond White on BOGO last week and received some help from forum members on the product, so I figured now would be a good time to write my first product review.

Prep:
I applied Dodo Juice Diamond White to it my white 2007 Tahoe. I had planned on doing a minor correction using Poli-Seal, but my GG 6" DA ran into some problems last week (no worries, AG is taking care of it). So instead, I had to apply Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion by hand after I clayed the horizontal surfaces.

Application:
First thing, Diamond White not only smells great in the jar, but made my garage smell good the rest of the day. It goes on very smooth, like most carnaubas. Given that it's a hard wax, it was pretty easy to apply a thin layer. A little goes a long way, not quite as long as Fuzion, but still spreads for a while.

The instructions say to let dry for 5-10 minutes before wiping off. So I applied it to one side of the car, and then returned to wipe it off. However, It probably sat for 15 minutes. The wax had thoroughly dried by then.

I used an Cobra edgeless indigo MF to wipe off the wax. I had to break up the dried wax at first, but once I did, it wiped right off. For a non WOWO, it removes pretty easily. It also left a very slick finish, more than other carnaubas I have used.

Overall, the wax applies and removes fairly easy. The real kicker is when my wife and I were walking out a store to the car, she stopped and said "wait, is this our car......oh, it looks really good."

In my book, if the wife notices it, it must be pretty good. It provides a good wet-look and depth for a white car. I really like this wax i can't speak to durability, but it looks great and will be a go-to wax. I took a quick picture with my iPhone, so it's not great, but it shows good results.

Nice review. I love white cars, I have 4 of em. I'm still kicking myself for missing the BOGO on these.

Nice review, the car looks great. Are you planning on testing durability as well? :)

Nice review! The truck came out great! Good job!

Great review and the truck looks awesome. Can you tell me what do you use on your running boards? Those look great and I suppose they're not slippery.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words and encouragement. I was very happy with the wax and how it came out.

Normally, I clean them with OPC diluted 2:1 for no other reason than it's easy. Then I protect them with 303, 1-2 times a month. This keeps then black and non-slippery.

This time, I found an old bottle of Mother's back to black that I hadn't used in a while, so gave that a try. It gives a little more gloss than 303 but doesn't last as long and doesn't protect as well.

Love the Tahoe! Nice review of the DoDo Diamond White. I too, love the stuff. I use it on the wife's white Jag and my white GT3.

DW is very good. It is the best I have found for White colors...
Durability is very good (6 months) if you do quick maintenance toppers once a month or so using whatever your favorite carnauba quick detail have.

6 months, that's good to know. I won't be testing durability this time since I'd like to do some correction work and Christmas holiday is the only time I have over the next two quarters. So regardless, the DW is coming off over Christmas.

I have a medium blue metalic 06 Ford Escape. I was given 2 jars of Dodo One is White Diamond the other is Banana Armour. Which one would look best on my car?
