Dodo Juice - 1936 Chevy Coupe - Extreme Makeover
Before and After Videos Showing Swirls Removed
Using Speedy Prep Towel to remove Overspray Paint
Met up with my good friend pj from Dodo Juice Carnauba Waxes as SEMA and he told me he was going to be in South Florida the week after SEMA and he asked me if I had any car projects we could tackle together while he was in town.
Just by coincidence my buddy Mike Gelter just bought a 1936 Chevy Coupe hotrod that was in dire need of some swirl removal and paint polishing. So Mike dropped the car off Wednesday morning and about noon pj and I went to work.
Surprise Guest!
While bringing the hotrod into the studio I saw my long-time friend Kristhian Salazar walking into the front door here at Autogeek. Kristhian is from Bogotá, Colombia and was also at SEMA and before returning to Bogotá stopped by the Geek to pick up some supplies.
I invited Kristian to join pj and I for some fun working on a "real" piece of Detroit Iron and he gladly accepted.
Here's a few pictures from this project, I'll post some more later today, needless to say, the paint on this cool coupe was trashed before we started and then with a little help from some Dodo Juice polish we restored a true show car finish.
Swirls shots in the sun...
Polished to a jewel like finish...
Had a little help from MrSkittles TheThird
Here's the Facebook page for MrSkittles TheThird
Here's the wrecking crew... pj, me and my buddy and Pro Detailer from Bogotá, Columbia, Kristhian Salazar
More pics to come later...
