Next the Application. I decided to use CG UFO foam pad since the jar is so small anything else would quite fit

I know it doesnt look as good as son1c's stang but 25% near close lol
next review will be light fantastic after i DG 501 my white s2000
Feed back please

Looks Great!! I love using Blue Velvet.. Well that is until I used Purple Haze Pro :props:

But you are going to love Light Fantastic on your white s2k

I see you also have Hard Candy.

I usually apply Hard Candy first for a little more protection and then Light Fantastic on top to help give that pop!

Try that on half your hood and see what you think!

Look forward to pics

Nice review, with some humor thrown in !! That is a small pot/jar. 1 pot will do a whole car?

Looks fantastic psynx! Thanks for the review.
thanx marc, your the man though lol your reviews and write ups are 2nd to none

i have read about i think in the dodo forums and other members here when i was searching about light fantastic.
I did see pro versions of purple haze and blue velvet after i ordered my samples lol i was kinda mad

jrocket is correct the jar says 3 to 5 cars

1 panel pot will do anywhere from 3 to 5 cars :props:
:iagree:

PSYNX how did you like the EcoSmart ?
its really good, but i cant honestly compare it to ONR or Meg's rinseless etc. this is the only waterless system i have ever used.
I did notice that it lifts the dirt and leaves a nice glossy and slick feeling after using it.

Looks great psynx! I honestly wasnt impressed with the blue velvet on my car....It didnt make it "pop" like I had anticipated. However I have the pro version and I know there are some differences. It looks great on your paint though! I still have purple haze pro that I havent tried yet. Thank you for the writeup :)

Purple Haze Pro is Amazing!

I used it on a Black Sand Pearl Toyota Tacoma. Applied CG BlackLight and Topped it with PH pro... looks were stellar! Really made the pearlescent color Pop in the black and protection seems to be pretty good

I have used Blue Velvet on a Blue Porsche and my white pearl Subaru.. It was ok.. almost looks like it helped warm the white up a little bit.. but I prefer hard candy and Light fantastic

Well that makes me feel better lol. Im glad it wasnt just me that though it was just ok. Application and removal were a breaze though. I'm looking forward to trying the purple haze pro now that you say good things about it. Ive been holding off on using it because I didnt want to be dissapointed. One wax that I just tried that blew me away was Meguiars M26. I used it on the car I corrected last weekend and it really made the paint 'glow'. Id recomend it and I think its underestimated/overlooked.

Yeah You will not be dissapointed.. I have heard great things about Blue Velvet pro from SON1C though.

I will have to take a look at the megs M26.

I have only used a handful of Meg's products as there are so many other great brands I enjoy using.. however I know Meg's has some great products!

i havent played with it but reading on it, people were saying on a black car after 2 applications makes the car look ink ish, which is expected from a purple wax.
have you tried the hard wax version of light fantastic?

agreed application and removal was very very easy.
CM8 6MT also says M26 is awesome, only thing i read about that wax is that durability isnt that great

I haven't used Diamond White ( hard version )

In place of DW I bought Hard Candy ( hard wax) which can be used on all color cars.. I mean I guess DW can too .. but read good reviews on HC and went with it..

haven't been dissapointed.

first tried light fantastic and was impressed.

Then decided to do HC first followed by LF for better durability!

Honestly a few friends on AG have given me there input on Rainforest and weren't that impressed so I have never ordered taking there word for it.

But there are plenty of good reviews on it as well.

since panel pots are relatively cheap I say add it to your next purchase and give it a try . and if you dont mind post your thoughts after using ... if you do decide to purchase that is..

But I would say since you have a few already just stick with what you have unless your looking to do some other warmer color cars and then consider picking up either

Orange Crush or Banana Armor

I plan on ordering a panel of Orange Crush this weekend to see what I think

on my last order i threw in rainforest rub, i have orange crush in my collection already. Dodo's website says it works well red and warm colors. banana armor and creme egg is what i been eyeing lol

That looks sweet! Color me interested...

Has anyone used a color combo approach to using the dodo juice family of products?--i.e., use blue velvet on a bright red car to see if a purple hue, or reflection, could be produced?

the only thing that ive read about that is, on white cars people use 2 or 3 coats of purple haze pro and it gives that purple ish tint to it

Thanks for the review. I have 3x30ml Blue velvet can't wait to use it.
