Does anyone Rinseless Wash Car Dealers lots? I went to a Dodge Dealer yesterday just to see if it was possible. The cars were filthy. I used two buckets with Meguiars D 114 and a Big Red Sponge. The two cars I cleaned came clean but the waffle weave drying towel was dirty. I think it's possible to Rinseless Wash Dealer Lots but I need to refine my process and try to figure out how much to charge

Good luck! Don't expect too much from dealerships. Those guys are super stingy!

I've heard of them being done, or wanting them done, for for less than $10 a car, maybe $5.

I believe in that tread it was a crew doing a drive by pressure wash and a couple of guys following behind wiping them down.

Unless they are will to pay, I think your two bucket method would be overkill for their expectations and pay. Unless they actually care about the condition of the paint and are aware of proper technique and the time needed to do so.

A buddy of mine owns a dealership, they pay 50 cents a car to have them sprayed off.

This is what I am up against, dealers not wanting to pay anything to get work done. I would need $5 for a small car, $7 for a Crossover, and $10 for a full size truck for a Rinseless Wash and I have a feeling the dealer will not pay it

Ahhh... What a great place to show off what I feel is a great example of how fantastic Wolfgang looks! This is 3 coats of the Wolfgang paint sealant. And obviously everything looks better in the shade, but those shaded pictures were just too good looking not to include. ;)

If they dont want to pay we can not work for free.

Would a dealer give us a free car ?

A free car payment ?

A free set of chrome running boards and chrome handles ?

Nope free cup of water maybe

I actually feel these prices are too low. I would like to double these prices

To be honest, you'll never see that amount from any dealer for a quick lot wash. They're way too many traveling crews with deionized water and a pressure washer taking these jobs for pennies on the dollar! I've heard as low as $1 per. vehicle for a quick rinse and "FREE SWIRL INSTALLATION" wash!

It really surprises me that dealers have millions in inventory and want to pay $1 to wash the cars, but i understand that most dealers are very frugal and do not want to spend any money

Most dealers in my area will only pay $2-3 a car to have them washed, less if they have 150+ in their inventory. The guys that do this around here rinse and chamois, and don't do the roofs either. The dealers will gripe about the quality all day long but will never even consider paying more to have them do it right.

You have a real uphill battle. You might be able to get some business from a smaller used car lot that sells higher end vehicles.

Why the megs product? Why not just use ONR? Seems like it would be alot easier to use ONR with wax.

I agree using ONRww is a good idea. I just used D114 since the cars are so dirty and I feel like it cleans better but both products work fine. I'm going out today with ONRww to a small lot

Let us know how it went! Good Luck!

Stopped by another car dealer today but they were closed. The lot has 10 cars and the cars are dirty but not too bad. I think I can Rinseless Wash all 10 in 2.5 hours at $5 each so it would be about $20 an hour. Would you wash these cars for $20 an hour using your products and drive time -- 7.5 miles away (15.round trip)? You can see the dirt on the hood if you look close

I worked at one of the biggest new and used car dealers in the US. Drivers village they had approximately 15 dealerships in one building. When it was time to wash their inventory they would have a crew come around with pressure washer and a truck with a water tank and spray them down with just water and water blade them off. Talk about DISO on 1500 new and pre owned cars. They really don't care about quality its about quantity.

I agree that they treat the cars like crap and thats a under statement.

You have to realize its a business if me and you owned that lot do you think we would have time or money to pay someone to wash each car properly.

Especially at such a big place that really is the only way.

Smaller car lots dont have a excuse tho.

However that big of a place i totally understand.

However i dont agree with the dealer "prep"

There they can be more careful there just jerks there

You would be killing yourself for peanuts then they will screw up you're check then you would have to wait 30 days for the correction why not use you're time to focus on retail customers I wouldn't even wash a car for 25 it's not my thing hit them up for maintenance monthly 65.00 less work more money does this make sense ?

Guys, it's the whole way of thinking that is steering you in the wrong direction. We care about car care, because that's what we do.

Dealers don't care about car care, they care about selling cars. No amount of education about car care will change that. It is a losing battle trying to get dealers to care about cars that will not even be in their inventory a month from now.

The dealer in the original post was not interested in getting any cars washed. I went to the Dodge Dealer today and talked with the manager. The cars are filthy and I said I would wash them for $5 each and he said he may be able to use me in the spring. Dealers seem to not care if their cars look terrible.
