Does Cobra Cross Groove Flex Foam pads work with Adams backing?

If you're planning on purchasing these:
Cobra Cross Groove 6.5 Pads 6 Pack - Your Choice!
Then this is the recommendation that's listed:
"Cobra Cross Groove™ 6.5 Inch Flex Foam Buffing Pads should be used
with a 5 inch Dual Action Hook & Loop Flexible Backing Plate"...
-What size is your Adam's BP?

This is the backing plate i have

its 6"...looking at the pad and the backing plate...it looks like it might work....hmmm

The Adams is a 6" but it measures in at 5 3/4"
I think you would have to find a 6.5 inch pad. I'm having a similar issue. I'm looking at the B&S euro pads that seem to fit the 6" backing plate.

6.5" pads are fine with a 6" (5 & X/Y") plate. A 6" BP is rarely 6", its usually 5" and a fraction of an inch. 6.5" pads are too big for a 4 & 7/8" BP, as that plate is for 5" or 5.5" pads. You BP shoddy be the same size as your pads, you want the pad a little bigger.
