door ding device prevention? is this good idea

So I'll be going to a tennis tournament this saturday with cars being crowded. Plan on parking towards end of the curb and puttting this on https://www.amazon.com/Ding-Bats-Re...d=1563314673&s=gateway&sr=8-3#customerReviews

It seems promising due to reviews but wondering is there anything in the market that's better?

Some reviews said it scratched the car but I plan on using it one time for tournament and if it poses problems I'll just return it. Better then leaving my car unattended and worrying about it during my tournament.

Hope there are is something really realiable out there?
 
They look like a more updated,modern version of the things I used to use on my car. They scratched my paint. I threw them out. Enough said.

From one time use? The magnet on the ones I got are actually underneath some cloth padding so it couldn’t scratch (did yours have just magnet on back)

I’m planning on using it just for tournament

Nice . I can essentially make my own but will look more funny and maybe have teenage bullies come and attack the car more lol but I like suction cup idea
