I have typical fingernail scratches behind my door handles. I have both a Cyclo and a Griots 3" but neither seems to get in there. I've seen some pretty impressive pictures of scratch removal behind the handles. Please tell me what to use!

Please don't be offended. I just had a mental image of someone trying to get their buffer pad between the doorhandles and getting very frustrated in the process

Your question was valid. The recommendation given by storm is your only option unless you want to remove the doorhandles?

Not sure of the products you may already have, but Meguiars Ultimate Compound is what I would recommend if your loking for an OTC product

Again, sorry if I offended you

Flash :)

Foam or terry cloth towel with something like Ultimate Compound as Flash mentioned or even Scratch X.

:iagree: Terry cloths work good here. They give you more bite. Something I do with old pads is to cut them up for situations like this

Even an AIO with microfiber by hand will clean those.

I kinda chuckled myself picturing someone trying to squeeze a DA in there. Been there tried that and then the light came on to use the pad by hand.

Megs 105 and a terry cloth will work well. SMAT polishes are nice when working by hand because you don't have to break them down. Just stop once the defect is removed.

Once complete, throw some opticoat or cquartz in there to increase scratch resistance.

I've been using a micro fiber towel and Meg's D300 lately, works like a charm too :xyxthumbs:.
