DP Exterior Cleanse All vs PB's APC, with a surprise
wasnt much of a contest...PB's APC is a nice cleaner that you can stand the smell of and is mild yet strong, but its no comparison to DP Cleanse All
took the wheels of my 06 ram quad cab because the insides were just too filthy from winter. decided to do a little product test and the DP cleanse all took the cake. didnt get them perfect but significantly better.
DP gel cleaner worked ok, but this was just too much brake dust and who knows what else for it to handle.
i originally thought the wheels were pitted which was making me a bit crazy because the truck is so new. but it looks like its just going to take more elbow grease and perhaps a slightly stronger product...suggestions welcome.
also perhaps the inside of the wheels can be painted..again suggestions welcome.
before (the wetness is from WD40 as the wheels were seized on):
after initial pass:
not bad but not quite cutting it, got a paint stripping brush from walmart and that halped with getting in the nooks and crannys
second pass:
now heres the best one (the surpise is it was cleaned with a generic household cleaner for the kitchen) then coated with DP Wheel Glaze inside and out:
again any suggestions to really get them showroom clean please let me know
thanks for looking
