Detailer’s Max Protection Winter Care Kit

Overall I love this stuff. Foam pads are nice and soft and these 2 products are amazing. The towels I don't really care for. Ive never really liked any carnauba wax but this stuff is awesome. Smells great, goes on easy and comes off easy as well. I like how the case has a rubber o-ring on it for a tight seal. The paint coating was very easy to apply and came off super easy. It wasn't super slick but the results were great. Haven't been able to test it out in the weather but im excited for when we get some crazy rain storms down here and it has been in the 30's :) surprisingly lol

The order I did this

dawn strip

ipa wipe down

applied paint sealant

let cure then buffed off with a mf towel

waited about an hour, idk why but then I applied the max wax

let haze then buffed off with a mf towel

both products were easy to apply and easy to come off hazing only took a few mins and after the wax it had a real rich, deep, shine with a slick feel to it

paint sealant hazing

wax hazing

Thank you AG!!!

Looking good. Yeah the DP sealant is a little thin, but remember thin is in. It held up real well for me down here in Florida on it's own, an excellent value for the $$.

I did my wifes car in May with the DP sealant for the summer and we just washed and detailed it yesterday. Went with Wolgang Sealant 3.0 it looks great which is a tribute to how well the DP held up. It did a great job of protecting the paint through our wet torrential summer rains.

A really nice job and makes me anxious to try this sealant which I've had sitting on my shelf for a couple months now. I see where you said that you waited only an hour before applying the wax over the sealant. I have not read the instructions yet but usually sealants require a cure time, sometimes up to 12 hours, before wax should be applied. Is this not the case with the DP and no cure time is required?

Nice work!

I use this on both my vehicles, which reminds me, I have to do them for the fall clean-up.

very nice outcome :)
Thanks!

Honestly I have no idea it wasn't on the instructions that's why I waited one hour lol

Nice! And thanksb

Nice color car

I have a jar of Max Wax too.

It smells great and the o ring is a nice touch. A little literally goes a loooonng way. I could not believe it. Spreads really nice.

Like you however I have noticed it is not super slick. Less than 845 imo

The DP Poli-sealant actually even beads better than the DP coating.

Thanks guys and yeah I didn't realize how little wax you needed!

:dblthumb2: i found the max wax to be amazing! so easy to work with. and the CLARITY AND REFLECTION was off the chart! (my fav wax now) sealants are great, but there is something to be said for a carnauba finish!

That is a great combo to work with, one of the ones no one talks a lot about but is really amazing.

QUICK UPDATE

had some pretty rough nasty rainy days and the car was very easy to clean and beaded pretty well, simple wash with CG wash and gloss made it shine again

That evo is very tastefully done. Wheels and color look great. Thank you for not having "hellaflush" wheels with tires that are stretched on the wheel and ridiculously negative camber.
