Introduction:
I was one of 3 fortunate winners of theDP Dual Action Odor Eliminator. My package arrived with a sample of 5 different scents, Tropical Breeze, Cinnamon Stick, Cool Mint Chocolate, French Vanilla and Just Detailed. I chose the Just Detailed scent for round one of this ongoing product review.

Details:
Packaging: 5 oz. aerosol can with the attractive new DP label and logo

Directions:
A) Quick Burst Air Freshener: Press the release valve lightly and spray in a sweeping motion in the air. Avoid spraying directly on glass.
B) Complete Release Fogger:Place DP Odor Eliminator on a flat surface in your vehicle or in a room. Press the release valve down completely until it locks. Leave the space and close the doors and windows. Do not re-enter for 2 hours. Allow the space to ventilate for thirty minutes before re-entering.
Conditions: My other hobby besides detailing is retriever training and I haul my 95 lb. Chesapeake Bay retriever Gus around with me in the back seat of my 01 Silverado. Gus can get a little ripe after he has been swimming in the lake and my truck takes on a pretty noticeable wet dog odor.
Application:
I choose the Just Detailed scent and Quick Burst application method to test the effectiveness of the Odor Eliminator. I applied several short bursts to the interior of the vehicle taking car to not spray directly on the glass and closed all doors and windows for 30 minutes. My initial observations are the Just Detailed scent has a fresh somewhat flowery smell that is pleasant and not too “perfumey” smelling, clean but not feminine.
Pros:
1) Easy to use
2) Very finely atomized mist, dispersed product evenly
3) Pleasant smell
4) Effective initial odor removal
Cons:
Not really a con,
Can size is fairly small, similar in size to a can of Ozium spray; perhaps we will see a larger size available in the future. The 5 0z. size is great to try out the different scents and they may provide more Quick Burst applications than I think.
Observations:
My initial observations are that these Odor Eliminators perform as advertised, are easy to apply and leave a pleasant but not overpowering scent behind with no more wet dog smell to contend with. I will be updating this post with my impressions of the other scents in the weeks to come. I will also be watching/sniffing the odor to resurface.
I have posted a before and after picture to illustrate this products effectiveness.

MAJIC!

Thank you for the review pfix.
I was hoping to win the contest for this product because I was interested in it as well.
Sounds promising but your semi-con for the observation of the product only being 5oz,I looked on the AG Store for more of this product's info and this is what AG said about the size:
"One can treats 6,000 sq. ft.
5 oz."

I'm thinking this should be enough for quit a few vehicle applications?

The can is a little small but it may give far more applications than I think. I will be using it fairly often so time will tell. It may take a while to determine this though since I have 5 cans to try. I guess I am used to seeing the household size cans like Lysol.

I can't wait to give this stuff a try. My Cobra has the horrible smell of nasty body armor and my kevlar helmet after many weeks of 15 hour a day use. I also just bought an 07 Highlander and the old owner had two huskies. Smells like nasty dog. These should be just the ticket.

I wonder if using like a fogger is to much for a vehicle?

Thanks for the review and creative pictures.

Excellent review!!!:applause: Maybe DP will pick-up your now you smell it, now you don't pics!!! Very creative!!!:props:

can you describe the scent ???

It has a very clean fresh smell, a bit on the light flowery side. My wife thinks it has a hint of honeysuckle. I like the scent, but I am anxious to try some of the others. I hope this helps.

Using the fogger might be a bit much inside a car. One option for fogging the car might be to use a partially empty can to reduce the amount of product released.

Thanks to everyone, I am glad you enjoyed the pictures.Gus and I had fun with it. This was his first modeling gig.

Day two. Got in the truck this morning and no noticeable scent left from the just Detailed Odor Eliminator and no dog smell either. So far it has done it's job.

4 days after the first application of the DP Dual Action Odor Eliminator and still no return of my funky wet Gus odor. Time to test out the next scent, Cinnamon Stick!

LOL nice write up! And cute dog.

I was curious to see what the "Just Detailed" scent was going to smell like.

Nice write up. I'll be trying some of this on my next order. Luv the pic also!

Thanks again for all of the positive remarks. Give these air fresheners a try. I think you will be happy.
