Thistle is a review of the dp tire gloss gel that I got awhile back..here goes...first off its easy to apply and it comes in a big 32oz bottle for more applications 2nd it has a mint smell to it so does the extreme foam car soap..last durability it lasted for 3 weeks when I applied it properly good thing about this product is that you can control the layers of shine you desire I usually put 2 coats on..stay tuned for more reviews as I test out more products and stay tuned for a tire shine battle showdown comparrasion with Wolfgang, pinnacle, dp,blackfire, sonax, black magic and Adams all in one thread.

It is good. Right up there with opti bond. I have used both with the carrand tire brush applicator. No sling and good durability.

My plan is to expand my comparrasions over a 2 week period means will show the applications of each and after the 2 week mark after daily driving so everyone can see the before and after shots..since I detail my car weekly this will be a good opportunity to test out the best tire shine gels, sprays and see who clearly is a winner of them all.

Good...how do you plan to do that with 7 dressings and 4 tires? Are you going to split up tires?

Well to make it easy I'm going to apply one dressing to all 4 tires drive it for 2 weeks and show the results for that product and when the next detail comes up I'll put anthor dressing on and do the same process for each dressing make sense?

After all the showdown is over I'll make one big thread with lots of pictures of each dressing after 2 weeks and anyone can help me determine a winner.

Well we have been having some nice spring weather and a few light showers here and there what more to make this experamint interesting..

Or, you could do a different dressing on all 4 tires, your spare, and rent a two-wheeled trailer and do 'em all at once.

I believe the spare would win in this scenario as long as you don't get a flat.

Sure I can do that it would make this a little easy on me its no problem.

Thanks for taking the time to do this in whatever format it ends up in - it is appreciated. :xyxthumbs::xyxthumbs:

Perhaps doing half of each tire, which would give us a half for each dressing and a half with nothing as a control.

I'll see what I'll do..the reason I came up with this idea is so people can choose the right dressing and see the different looks that each gives.
