Post your review of it, was it worth it, anything you wish you knew before using it / tips

I'ved used it and liked it. Watch their video, take time, be patient, follow
the directions and you'll have good results.

I've used it on my black TL. Very easy to use, doesn't glob up. nothing but praise. 1 jar will last you a lifetime.

It says their paint only has a shelf life of one year iirc

uh oh, I better use mine up. Also be sure to polish everything before applying. I don't think it will hold up under any serious correction.

You really don't think it'll hold up during polishing?
And Tim I'm not arguing, just restating what they advertise lol

From what I've seen and heard it works quite well. Also, sick Mustang! Sonic Blue is my favorite color. If they had the new Mustangs in that color I would have definitely gotten that.

Thanks :) I've done a decent amount since those pics and a few more mods to to come and I'll get some new good pictures, how do you like yours? And 2.73s? Sounds like 373s might be in order ;) I have 4.10s in mine, and yeah it's cool the color is sort of rare but I wish they'd still produce it in low numbers, it was a big factor in getting this sonic blue is one of my favorite colors on these

Mines held up after a Collinite waxing and buffing with the PorterCable.

I've used it on my Accord and was happy with the results. Larger chips may need more than one application. Once the paint cures after about a month it is fine to polish over it.

How long to wait before applying a Nuba wax

It doesn't harden like paint, it's more of like a very hard rubber almost. Dr. ColorChip does say to do all correcting before applying. I forget if it was a post or on their site.

The stuff is killer though. Quick and easy, looks great from about 5 feet out.

Is there a reason you made another thread on is? I dont mean it in a rude way.

It just seems to me you are really on the fence about buying it. Curious what your concerns are.

more specific than the other thread/a lot easier to do lol and I already took the plunge and purchased it, thats why I asked about tips etc and I'd follow up on this with my own review and results

however.. I have some paint correction needed for my vehicle, should I wait until I fully correct mine and then apply this, because I'm a perfectionist and will be very meticulous on applying this and dont want that to be a waste once I break out the GG

I would honestly wait, that way your paint is fully receptive and clean for the paint to bind perfectly.

I did all the polishing first, then colochip. I didnt want to wait the recommended 30 days if you colorchiped first.
