dried on pollen

I've got some nasty caked on pollen in hard to reach places and build up on window seals. The car's parked outside with hundreds of trees around. (It's beautiful, but all the pollen makes it tough.)

Any suggestions... lots of warm, soapy water soaks or maybe some steam? what else??

Maybe a really soft boar's hair brush to agitate with, or a pressure washer if you have one. If not, maybe hit a coin operated one?

I'll hunt for a soft bh brush, it'll come in handy for many uses. And we have a presssure washer. thank you

-Plenty of ONR/warm-water solution.
-Having a spray bottle filled this solution
as a 'pre-treatment'...is also a big help.


Keep in mind that:
Water/Moisture "activates" acidic pollen.
Staining of the Paint may occur.

-A very fine abrasive polish should remove most staining.
-Even a claying session may do the trick.

Just a couple thoughts I had.

Like Bob mentioned, loza hot water and 'soap.' A 'brush' if SUPER SOFT, will help some. Saying that stuff is tenacious is an understatement.

Take a look at the 'car care' sections in any of the local auto parts stores. Even the 'cleaning' sections of something like Fred Meyer's. Also checking out janitorial supply stores are worth a shot. Just start feeling them. Ya just want to get a hand size brush (like a scrub brush size). Just think SOFT!

Sounds like a cop-out on my part, but that is the only way I can describe it.
