Other than wearing a softer heal (which won't happen) any good small plastic protectors for the area where the shoe heel rests on the carpet?

Thanks,
Howard

Hi Howard...

Many vehicles come with OEM floor mats that have a
built-in driver's side "heel protector":

However... The OEM's will eventually show the same kind of wear that you're concerned with.

Some folks will then replace them with OEM-originals...
Or with something more durable. Like these:

^^^IMHO...Use of this type of "heel-protector" may actually be a driving safety-hazard!^^^

I have clear mats I bought from autozone. They are made by Goodyear. They are great for when it rains so all the nasty crap you drag in just gets on the plastic mat. And since they are clear, you can't really see them. Also, say you're going out for the night with some ladies, you can remove those mats for a nice clean, stock look with the original mats lol.

I bought a set of those WeatherTech floor protectors for my mother's car. Those things are the best and look really nice in there too.
