Is there a drying aid lubricant. That is comparable with a ceramic coated car ?
Im under the impression that a instant detailer might not be so good.

CarPro ECH2O mixed 1:20 would work. At that ratio it's a QD specifically designed for ceramic coatings.

I've found with a ceramic coated car a drying aid isn't needed as much because they sheet water so well. When I'm done washing my vehicles, I give them a good flood rinse which leaves most of the panels with very little water. From there I lightly dry the vehicle and then go back around it with a little ECH20 and spot wipe any water spots left behind. When the weather is cool and there is no direct sunlight, I can often skip the hunt for water spots.

Thx. I dry my ceramic coated car with a blower. But at times. I don’t get all the water spot off. Or I’d like to add a little short term gloss. Is this a good product for said application? Thanks

It's what I've used for years on my ceramic coated vehicles as a QD, drying aid, post-wash wipe down, etc.

I will agree with Desertnate. Ech2O is great as a drying aid and detail spray for a coating. It will leave a small haze at first, so what I do is spray on the towel/panel, wipe with the damp towel and level it to the whole panel, then come back with a dry clean towel to buff off the haze. Leaves behind a really nice gloss and is completely streak free. The hazing is by design and what deposits the coating-friendly gloss enhancers onto the surface, sort of like letting a wax haze before buffing. It's just really light and nice.

I use Uber Sio2 waterless mixed...air dryer when available.

When I want to add some gloss then its uber sio2 diluted @ WW ratio. If I don't wanna add gloss then I use Mckee's 37 n914 @ WW ratio.

What ratio are you using? I apply it very lightly at a 1:20 ration and typically only see hazing if I apply it too heavy directly to the panel. Occasionally in sub-40F temps I'll get a little streaking if I apply too heavily.

I'm generally using it at 1:15. It's a bit heavy but I like the gloss that results from it and is worth the extra wipe for me. I tend to use it as an actual waterless wash too, so the heavier ratio has a bit more cleaning and lubrication that I like.

To the OP are you looking for protection or no protection in your drying aid?

I agree With the above on Ech20. Works well and leaves a nice gloss.

For pure lubrication nothing beats Ammo Hydrate for me. Spendy but worth it.
