I am planning to buy a new microfiber waffle weave drying towel .Among the cobra supreme guzzler and cobra guzzler HD which one has a better absorbency?

Or Microfiber Madness Dry Me Crazy....

Although I have an HD and am a fan.

I have the Chemical Guys Wooly Mammoth. Works really great. Dries my whole car without having to wring it once.

Next drying towel, for me to try. Will be Microfiber Madness Dry Me crazy.

Unfortunately , Microfiber Madness is not available in my country.

I use Cobra guzzler hd (it has a foam in between the waffle material), a must have

The cobra guzzler HD is just 16" X 24" in size whereas cobra supreme guzzler is 20" X 40" in size...Even though the guzzler HD is smaller in size it absorbs more water than the supreme guzzler??

I just used the dry me crazy this morning for the first time. I was not impressed. I'm going to need a second drying towel to finish the job. I do like how it feels and feel really safe using it on my black paint. But my drying towel that I bought from pepboys does a better job drying. But the pepboys towel might be leaving swirls behind. I plan on using the dry me crazy from here on out. But I am going to look for a smaller follow up drying towel

Sorry. Just realized my post has nothing to do with the thread question.

I haven't used the dry me crazy towel. Just wondering why were you not impressed?

The chemical guys wooly mammoth towel works really nice. I was hoping dry me crazy towel would be even better...

Here you go, OP...GO GREEN:

The Cobra Waffle Weave Guzzler is available in sizes Regular, Supreme, and Ultimate.
To be a little more specific, the sizes are 16" x 24", 20" x 40" and 28" x 44".

I use both. The Guzzler HD for the first pass and the Guzzler (or another one of my waffle weaves) for what the HD misses and the tighter areas.

I guess with all the rave reviews, I wasn't expecting to have to use a second towel to get what the dry me crazy didn't get

The Mothers Performance Drying Towel is an HD on steroids. Bigger , thicker foam and nicer banding. Trust me on this. I gave my HDs away when I tried the Mothers. It is 20 x .24. The Dry Me Crazy is my other favorite.

Do you use it dry or slightly damp? Feed back please. :buffing:
Not my question but I hope you don't mind my answering. I use my Mothers dry. I lay it on the surface. The foam makes it lay down perfect every time. I hold the towel with one hand and pat dry with the other. No towel movement so no towel marring. I do this most often with Rinseless. One towel can do an Expedition!

I spray a couple of spritz of optimum instant detailer but can use it dry (since I use ONR and it will get damp with it from drying).. I lay it flat and rub my hand over it, lift it up and place it on next area, do the similar thing on vertical panels but hold with one hand to keep in place. No towel dragging, and in tighter/smaller areas just blot dry with it by folding it.

Its possible because although the supreme guzzler is offered in bigger sizes, its a pure waffle weave towel with a weight density of 350g, the guzzler hd towel is a waffle weave towel with a foam (think sponge) layer in between the waffle material with density of 295g each side/590g total, thus its a thicker towel (per mf comparison chart on AG)
