After seeing some of my other work, this Ducati owner asked what I could do for his 06 Sport Classic. As if being a Ducati wasn't enough, this one had been modified heavily. Pretty much every part on this bike has been worked over for more performance and handling. It also had a sound that lets you know it means business!

After the initial inspection, it was decided a full correction would be performed, then topped with Swissvax Concorso to get the most out of the color on this bike.

Correction was carried out on Makita rotary and PCXP.
Megs 105 on PFW
Menzerna 203 on LC orange
Menzerna 85RD on LC black

LSP was Swissvax Concorso, hand applied.

Thanks Chris!

Wow! Nice work!!!!

Thank you!

I am curious how did you do so well getting around the decals, it came out looking great!

Thanks Meghan. I actually didn't have to work around them as they are actual paint and then cleared over. Taping each letter of Ducati would be a pain! Thankfully I was saved that extra work on this one.

I thought that till I saw the photo with the black stripe, looked like it had light catching at what I thought was a decal.

In that case very nice work!

very nice work! how much time did u put in this one? compressed air is a must when drying bikes.

at first look of the before pictures, the rims looked like they had a LOT of dust. then the still look matte in the afters. do u have bike stands to aid in cleaning those spokes? major PITA for sure!

great work on the correction sir!!!

Did you apply the Swissvax with the nitrilite gloves on?

The stripe and the lettering is slightly higher than the rest of the paint surface so it could be a decal, but its definitely cleared over. Thanks!

About 5 1/2 hours went into this one. The rims were pretty dirty, but they are also a flat black so they were never gonna look shiny. The spokes on the other hand were a pain, as was the anodized orange hubs with about a hundred nooks and crannies. Spent about 30 min on each of those orange hubs.

I do have a stand, but unfortunately it doesn't fit all bikes.

I usually don't, but this time I gave it a try. Worked fine but takes away some of the feel from doing it bare handed. At least I didn't have to scrub my hands over and over to get the wax off them this time.
