dummy questions about collinite 845

Hi all. I've been following AGO for a long long time. really love here. I m a totally nooooooob for detailing work, but truly love this.

Ok I have few questions about collinite 845

1\ Is this easy to use. can I apply the wax on entire car and then buff off at last? or should I do it section by section? can this be applied by hand with a foam applicator?

2\ I have a blue metallic car(avatar). Will 845 looks good on this color? since from what I read, 845 is especially good at light color cars. (tho- I really no idea whether blue is light or dark)

Just used 845 on my daughters dark blue Mustang. Outstanding on that color. Of course, the underlying prep work makes the most difference.
 
yes you can apply then wait to buff it off, 845 looks great on any color. just remember to apply thin thin thin!
 
The only way 845 is ever hard to work with is if you do not get it into a liquid state first, or you apply to much.

Don't do either, and you will be very happy.
 
I can't add much at this point other than Collinite 845 is an all time favorite of mine especially for a winters worth of durability............:props:
 
To back up everyone else here very thin application is key! Another thread on here talks all about applying 845 and one tip is if you're not sure that there is enough on the pad to keep going press your pad against a clean window and if you see a pad imprint of residue youre still good so keep going.
