Let me ask you something first, are you planing on using this everyday? I own a auto detailing business in Maryland and have the vx5000 and we use it only on really dirty vehicles which don't really come around a lot normally we end up breaking this machine out on soccer mom mini vans or someone that has a lot of kids. Unless your turning over a solid 1-2 vehicles a day every day I would say save your money and invest in a decent polisher like a flex or rupes and buy some decent lc pads invest in things that you need to use on every vehicle no matter what unless your just a rich guy looking to spend your money and it's not an issue then knock yourself out deff buy it then. Just my .02
