Tryed this today for the first time and like it alot,
anyone know about it's durability. and is it really a sealer...:confused:
 
By itself I got almost 2 months out of it, was still beading good and fairly slick when I stripped down on one of our cars. Excellent product. Wait till the next day, once AW sets.

WATER RESTRICTIONS??????? :D COME TO N.Y AND BE CONSUMED BY WATER....AND FREE...;)
 
Bill you will get 6-7 weeks out of 1 application...do it on a dry car and just 1 spray per panel and work it in....it just about vanishes ..buff off with another dry towel ...do not over use..it will layer and start to mute after to much is used...for the in between washes and after a wash use the Fast Clean and Shine QD from DG..gives the same effects as AW but not as concentrated..it has a cleaner in it also.....for bird bombs...finger prints..lite dust...works great like AW

Yes AW the next day is better....really gets slick and glossy...wait till it rains..it does not stick to the pant..and washes it also..dirt rolls off...

:iagree: Fast Clean and Shine #921 is a awesome product also. Bill you need to pick this up too.
 
Man! I am using AW way too much. I use it every week. I had no idea that it was this durable.

Don't know about comparison but I like fk 425,nice slickness to it as well as anti-static properties:D

FK 425 is more of a good weekly detailer, a very good one at that. AW is more durable, both are similar IMO as far as look and slickness.
 
I was just wondering if anyone had a side by side comparison between Fast Clean and Shine #921 and FK 425??????

#921 is one heck of a cleaner and the slickness is unreal!
 
You know you guys always get me in trouble. I just placed an order with AG today and I already have a wish list for my next order. I'm going to have to stop eating before too long just to pay for this stuff.

These topics certainly get off track sometimes.

#921 is for the 22 oz. The gallon is called #923.

I have gallons of both...921 and 425....both look very good and have great slickness and shine....

BUT...the 921 seems to keep the slickness and gloss a bit longer..425 will dissipate after a wash or a rain or 2....

both are nice products..I use 425 as a drying aid at time...to help lube while drying...

921 has a little more cleaning ability and also makes a nice glass cleaner and repels water nice on the windshield..oh it also has anti static properties ..

both products have a place with me...121

the whole trick to keeping DG slick is the shampoo...it is made to work with it products...it has a little of the polymer in the sealants have and also does not use a acid or alkali detergent that can degrade a finish...

with 105 on the paint dirt just rolls off with just rinsing..so no need for a strong soap...

also the boat soap is the same as the auto soap..but a different smell is all...sometimes it is cheaper...look around...

AL................... I USED THE 921 FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY AFTER A FEW GUYS LIKED IT AND I ALREADY OWNED IT, SO I TRY"D IT. AND IT TOO REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF 425 WHEN I WAS WORKING WITH IT.OF COURSE THE DIFF IN PRICE IS A BIG BOOST FOR 921 ALSO.BUT ITS NOT ABOUT MONEY FOR ME, ITS ABOUT PRODUCT. AND I'M VERY HAPPY WITH 921 AND AW. AND YES!! AW DOES LOOKS BETTER THE NEXT DAY........:cheers:
