What'st the difference in DG 105 and 111? Which is preferred for what and why? Any advice is welcome, I'm looking for a good inexpensive sealant for friends and family whose cars get neglected for longer periods of time than my own.

105 is newer version and much better looking, 111 is the old style that was kinda plasticky looking like old Zaino.

Get #105, its excellent looking. Durability is right there with full Zaino prep and Klasse SG.

I use DG105. I think the main difference between the two is that the DG105 has some/more cleaning ability than DG111(which i think is more of a 'pure sealant' with little or no cleaning ability).

There is also some caranuba wax in 105. 111 is straight sealant.

I don't think that's right. 105 rocks and topped with AW it is an incredible product at a very reasonable price. All of my customers' cars now get DG, before I used to use Collinite.

#105 is much more durable!!! #601 followed by #105 is a very durable combo!!!:righton:

Hmmmm. So, are you guys saying I should get 105???

Ok, that's what I'll do! Would some of you mind emailing my wife and telling her that, yes, sometimes I do listen? j/k

I guess i stand a lone here. I do not use 105 instead I use 501 better cleaning, same looks and durable. I also like 111 on certain cars and colors, it is a pure sealant no cleaners.

I really like 111 on whites and silvers. While it looks over the top on certain colors, that plastic look brings white and silver to life. It does look almost exactly like Zaino Z2, before Z2 Pro came out.

I've used 111 on mineral grey and dark shadow grey. It looks great but seems to lack depth compared to the other thins Ive tried. Now Im curious to try 105. 111 was an impulse buy at my local Napa.

Send me your address and I'll send you a sample, I have a little bit on hand.

The DG stuff is so inexpensive it's hard not to try the stuff.

That's one of the great things about the Duragloss line, for the most part it's a great bang for the buck. Their stuff works as advertised and I'm sure they could mark it up and still sell, but they're not greedy.

Hmm, what a funny coincidence, huh?

Yeah... crazy huh...

DG105 has more depth for sure. Follow either with AquaWax and you'll get all the depth you can handle (though it does take about 12-24hours for AW to setup).

I'm with you---I also am a 501 user and proud to admit it.
