Duragloss 105 vs water spots

Hey guys. I've got some mild water spotting on a vehicle. It's from a car that was washed but not dried a couple of days ago. Then it rained that night and dried the following morning. Pretty sure these spots aren't corrosive, but they're not wiping off with a detail spray and mf towel. If I really scrub (in a small test spot) I can mostly remove the spots, but there's still slight visibility to them if you look really closely.

Would DG 105 be effective in knocking these out? I'm under the impression that there are no abrasives in the 105. But would the strong chemical cleaners in 105 work to clean up these seemingly surficial
spots? Thanks.

I don't know for sure because I haven't tried, But I'm going to speculate that it would not be helpful. Most water spots removers are acidic in nature and respond to acids, not solvents which are in cleaner/waxes

Thanks. After I wrote that, I wondered if it would get attention in an old thread, so I made a new one. I'll check it out.
