Hi guys,

I have two questions please:

1. What's the easiest to use cleaner for fabric seat stains?
Hopefully something that has broad uses (e.g. general interior cleaning also), so I don't have too many products.

2. How do these compare for carpet stains?

Super Clean.
Optimum Power Clean.
Meguiar's D101 APC.
Ultima Interior Shampoo.
Griot's Interior Cleaner.
Chemical Guys Nonsense.

Thanks :xyxthumbs:

Folex takes care of random, small stains on clothes in a pinch too.

I originally got Folex to have on hand for auto interiors. Yeah, it can eliminate some stains. Walmart doesn’t stock it it to the best of my knowledge, Home Depot and Lowe’s does.

It's work for fabric seat stains too?
I asked the associate at WalMart auto department and gave me a product called "Tuff Stuff".
I'm going out on a limb to say this.......I believe 97.42% of the members on this forum know more about cleaning a car than a Walmart associate.

I get that, yes of course :)
I meant: how would you compare the two?

Tuf Stuff is ok at best, Folex on the other hand is fantastic. WaxMaster knows his stuff :)

I have yet to try it, but a detailing channel or two that deal with extreme cleans use LA Totally Awesome cleaner that you can get from the dollar store. Seems pretty legit and super cheap too.

I use it all the time around the house but for car interior stains I reach for Folex.

I favor 303 Spot Cleaner for fabric
seat stains’ remediation: Doesn’t get
much easier than this!

Note: Don’t forget to follow up with
a fabric protectant. (Speaking of 303:
their Fabric Guard is my favorite.)

FYI:
I tried Tuff Stuff on an old tea stain - it didn't make any difference.

Does Folex work on tea stains?

Thanks.

LA Totally Awesome and Folex both work really well. Can't beat the price on LA Totally Awesome, $1 at the dollar store.

Hi PAD, do either of them work on tea stains?

I tried Tuff Stuff to remove tea stains from carpet and it didn't work at all.

Thanks

I can't say for sure about tea stains, but both work very well on coffee.

For tea (tannin) stain removal:
Meguiars D106 Fiber Rinse & Tannin Stain Remover
