As the title suggests, I am looking for the easiest-to-use ceramic coating. Least prep, application and finishing requirements.

thanks,

Jim

From what I've read so far, McKee's 37 Paint coating is the easiest to apply & remove. I've also used it and it IS very easy.

Pretty much what he said...there are some other non-AG coatings that are pretty friendly too. Posh Angel has some easy to apply coatings as well.

Prep work is pretty consistent across the board with nano coatings. The real differentiation comes with the actual application process. Some coatings require a lot of attention to wipe off times, type of towels used, ambient conditions (temp and humidity), etc etc etc.

These are my favorite coatings when "ease of use" is an important factor....

22ple - All are VERY easy to use. HPC and VX3 are my favorite (in that order)

GTechniq - CSL is great. As long as you know how to use it, it is very easy. Wipe on, wipe off. Let it sit and you'll have issues. (This is my all around favorite coating at the moment)

Optimum - Gloss Coat is a breeze. Apply to panel, let it flash, gently remove high spots, move on to next panel.

McKee's, Pinnacle and 22PLe are all fairly easy to apply.

Mckee'37 is beyond easy. However, any and all coatings really need the same prep, as in making sure the finish is free of defects (compounded and polished) and then the surface cleaned before application.

If the coating is applied over a imperfect surface, the imperfections are being "coated" in as well as it will not look as good and potentially not last as long.

The spray on coatings like McKee's and PBL are by far the easiest to apply. However, I don't think they are as durable as the others.

In terms of the conventional wipe-on coatings, I have to say that Wolfgang Uber is the easiest to apply. I've applied this when it is 90 degrees in my garage and when it was 50 degrees in my garage. It goes on extremely easily and buffs off with such little effort.

I agree with Zach about 22PLE.

There are quite a few that look fantastic but require a bit more attention to apply and buff.

Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Coating v2. It's super easy to work with but you will need to spend some time prepping the paint surface. Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Coating

CarPro Essence + CQuartz is a pretty hard combo to beat in terms of "ease of use." Essence polishes the paint and doesn't require a panel prep wipe down so you can go directly to coating after polishing. The newest version of CQuartz is basically wipe on a panel, wipe off the panel. Let cure. Enjoy for several years. This is the combo I use for my entry-level coating packages and it works great.

The easiest to use, surely, has to be:

Hey Zach i just got csl and exo 3 today. when i decide to use it can you tell me if it is ok
to wipe off with a suede towel? i know the instructions say to use a microfiber towel. what would be your recommendation for this coating? and would you use the supplied applicator or a suede applicator on a block?

I apply with a CarPro Block and Suede, I don't prefer the supplied GTechniq Applicator.

For wipe off, I use a shorter nap microfiber towel followed by a medium nap microfiber towel. I do not prefer suede towels for removing the coating residue.

How about Gyeon Can Coat. Sort of an entry level coating.

Gloss coat has to be the easiest coating I've ever tried as far as application goes.
