You guys know I'm a huge fan of 303 Aerospace Protectant! Just wanted to throw my 2 cents on another product that I'm sure most of you are already familiar with...
-Einszett Rubber Care Stick Gummi Pflege-
The first time I used this on my window seals I liked it but I felt like I would probably go back to using my 303 with the help of
"edge foam swab applicators" The Edge Foam Detailing Tips, swab detailing tips, auto detail swabs, detail swabs
I figured it was possible that I was just new to the Gummi Pflege and uncomfortable with how hard to press and how much of the sponge applicator becomes moist so I new I should give it a few more shots. Well today I used it again (3rd time) and this product is excellent!!! I have the feel for the application now and will continue to use this on at least my window seals. Really liked the feel of them after it had dried. Don't have to remove it after it dries either! For anybody looking to protect rubber I recomend the Gummi Pflege as a great product for small upwards facing rubber (like window seals).
And if you haven't tried 303 Aerospace Protectant you are missing out. The 303 is extremely versatile and has an spf 40. Apply to dash, vinyl, rubber seals, rubber hoses in the engine bay, windshield wipers, wiper blades, turn signal levers, car antennae, etc.
-My application method-
1.-If a surface is dirty clean & dry it first before applying the protectant.
2.-Spray a little 303 onto a foam applicator or an "edge foam swab applicator"
3.-Wipe it onto the surface (Quick, easy, & FUN!)
4.-After applying to surface wait 2 to 5 minutes from your start time.
5.-Thoroughly dry with a clean dry microfiber detailing towel using the same starting point.
I use Lexol on my leather but I will probably follow up with 303 as well next time I do it.
Tommorrow I'll post some pics of the Skybaby Engine bay with 303 AP protectant throughout!
