It's been a while since I detailed my Featherlite Enclosed car trailer. It always gets black streaks running down from the roof. It really needed a good detail.

Wash: Poorboy's Super Slick & Suds using white Schmitt.

Sealant: 2 coats of Duragloss 501 applied with PC. Duragloss 501 has some great cleaning ability. It got all the black streaks off.

Wax: 2 costs of Collinite 845 applied with PC. Collinite 845 has some great durability.

I usually like to apply a wax or sealant my hand but it's a lot faster using the PC-7424 on something this large. Besides using the old PC on the trailer the only other thing I use it for these days is with a 4" pad to get into some tight areas on some of my cars.

I usually use the trailer to take my Gallardo up to Orlando for service or take one of my cars to the Sebring track. Since I ran out of garage space the trailer has also been placed in service as a garage for my C4. I haven't been driving the old vette much the past few years.

The trailer looks really good I need to do my Wells Cargo but I am waiting for the temps to go down abit. Plus it's being used to move my daughter and son in law at the moment.

You trailer the Gallardo?! Man if I spent that much on a car, you bet your cookies I would enjoy driving it till it fell apart heh

Looks great. I have a black one in bad need of a detail. Got to get a DA before I try to tackle it again. Tried it by hand and quickly realized that it wasn't going to happen. Too much surface area and too little time.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate your kind words. The paint job on these trailers is not the best. It don’t compare to a typical car’s paint so it’s hard to make it look to spectacular. I have had the trailer about 5 years now. I try to keep it looking new.

None of the Lamboghini dealers in Florida are close to my house. It's hard to drive the car in for service when they usually end up keeping the car over night. They did just open a new Lambo dealer in Sarasota which is much closer to me then Orlando or Miami.

When I trailer one of my cars up to the Sebring track we usually bring a lot of stuff like a cooler or cold drinks, change of clothes, tools etc. Sometimes even a golf cart. About the only thing you can fit into the Gallardo trunk is a duffle bag.

Ah ok, I get ya. It would be kinda cool to get certified to work on those kind of cars. I can only imagine what that would entail x_x

Nice job again Gary. I remember last time you posted pictures after doing it and these are as good. You used the same combo that's on most of my motorhome. Beads like crazy.

Thanks Jimmie! I have used both these products alot but never in combination before. In previous details of this trailer I used Klasse AIO to get the paint clean. Duragloss 501 has great cleaning ability and is easier to remove then the Klasse so I though I would give it a try on the trailer. It's hard to beat the durability of Collinite 845 so I think it's a great combination on something large like a trailer or motorhome. Besides that both are great products yet very inexpensive.

That or a real small passenger, say 5'2" who has skills to detail the car between races!:detailer:

Very nice detail on the trailer, I did one of those one time, only one time and ended up using Amazing Roll Off on black streaks, they came right off. Its a lot of area to detail when doing a long trailer like that.:pc7424:

Meghan, if you were 2'5" you might be able to fit in the Gallardo's truck but it would be a tight fit. If you want to come over to the west coast and help detail my cars you're welcome anytime.
