Eraser after essence?

I would recommend a light wipe down just in case to get any oils off the surface to ensure the best bond.

I have made it a habit of coming back with Eraser to remove any polishing oils that are still left behind. Think of it as a sanity check for me. I don't know if this is for personal use but I have used Essence on personal vehicles and let it sit for 24 hours (after initial wipe off) to let the oils/lubricants "evaporate" off the surface while the SiO2 cures. I come back with an Eraser wipe to remove any light dust accumulation overnight and to remove any residue that may still be on the surface allowing the coating to bond to the SiO2 from Essence.

If you are applying it by hand then the answer is a definitive yes per CarPro.

The only time I have not done an Eraser wipe is if I followed up with Essence Plus to use the Essence Twins combo.
